Science Fair 2017 Summary Sheet                 

This summary sheet must be turned in with the project at check-in Friday, March 11th 6:30-8:30PM.

Here are some questions you should be thinking about as you develop and prepare your project for the science fair.

Instructions:     Put your name and grade at the top of the page and leave a space for the number of your exhibit (we will give you your number at check-in) You may use a separate piece of paper for your answers.

Answer the following questions:

1. What did you know about the topic when you started?

2. What did you want to know and why? What is my question?

3. Hypothesis- What did you think would happen during the course of your experiment?(educated guess)

4. Experiment- How did you set up your experiment? How was it performed or carried out? Include all data collected with proving either pictures, graphs, charts, etc.

5. Conclusion- What were the results of your experiment? What did you think of your results? Did I answer my question?

6. What materials and/or resources did I use?

Your summary sheet MUST be turned in with your project and read by the judges of the science fair. Please make sure that it is neat and legible and that you have answered all the questions to the best of your ability. You may also add pictures, drawings or graphs to illustrate your procedure and results. By answering the questions you are demonstrating how you used the scientific method for your experiment..
